Restrict Content Pro Review, Pricing, Pros and Cons
What is Restrict Content Pro?
Recently, Restrict Content Pro has had a rebirth and is swiftly emerging as a top membership choice. After a few years of sluggish progress, Pippin (of Pippin’s Plugins) appears to be giving RCP a high priority once more. Over the past 12 months, it has undergone significant development, so I’m eager to watch how that develops going forward.
It’s an excellent plugin for a straightforward membership site, on the one hand. Lightweight, quick and simple to set up, and without unnecessary bells and whistles
Features
- Create as many free or paid membership levels as you need with unlimited membership levels.
- Charge one-time or recurring membership fees with our flexible payment and discount options (or make them free). Free trials, one-time enrollment fees, vouchers, and other incentives can also be used creatively.
- Material limitation – limit specific pieces of content or bulk restrict content by post type, category, and more.
- Drip-feeding subscribers with material over time will keep them interested. Or you can make stuff obsolete after a specified period of time.
- There are several payment gateways available, such as Stripe, PayPal (with various options), Braintree, and others.
- Numerous integrations — in addition to interfaces with payment gateways, you also receive integrations with well-known CRMs and email marketing platforms, as well as with other plugins like WooCommerce, LearnDash, EDD, and others.

Conclusion
The fact that content dripping and login redirections can only be purchased as pro add-ons raises some questions in my mind about Restrict Content Pro as a membership plugin. Additionally, the majority of email integrations require a Pro membership.
However, compared to some of the other solutions on the market, it is one of the best-coded membership plugins, and its simplicity and ease of use are genuinely refreshing.
It doesn’t try to be everything to everyone, but it does have some fairly sophisticated setup options among its add-ons, which makes it my top choice for some membership types, particularly Mixergy style sites where content needs to be public for a set amount of time before being available to members only.
